The following policies and guidelines have been put in place to ensure the safety of all our families.

Any guest may be asked to vacate the Tikva House immediately if the manager determines (in his/her sole discretion) that such action is in the best interest of the Tikva House and Tikva House guests.

  • Firearms, weapons, alcohol and illegal drugs, and pets (other than service & guide dogs) are completely forbidden.
  • Candles, incense and open flames are not allowed in the rooms.
  • No smoking is permitted in the Tikva House. If you must smoke, please go to the corner of Washington Street to smoke (there is a security tower/guard at the corner of N. Washington St. & McElderry).
  • Anyone exposed to a contagious disease in the past 21 days cannot stay at the Tikva House.
  • Children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times.
  • Hospital appointments must be within 24 hours of arrival.
  • Rooms must be vacated within 24 hours after discharge from treatment.
